Embroidery Hoop Wreath
Difficulty Level: Easy
I didn't realize the fun crafts you could make using embroidery hoops (lets just say there will be more blogs in the near future). These wreaths were super fun to make and extremely easy. The finished products turned out great and look so welcoming on the front door.
What you will need:
–Embroidery Hoops (we used 12 inch hoops)
-Hot Glue gun (and glue sticks)
-Spray paint (optional for the wooden letters)
-Craft wire (also optional)
How to make:
Step 1: Lay your embroidery hoop flat on the table! Temporarily place your flowers around the hoop to get an idea of how you want them to lay out before gluing.
Step 2: If you plan on painting your wooden letters this would be a good time to do so! Spray paint works great and dries fast.
Step 3: Once you have the flowers laid out start gluing them down on the embroidery hoop! If you need extra security this is where the wire would come in handy.
Step 4: If you decide to use wooden words on your wreath hot glue works great for bonding the letters to the wooden wreath.
Step 5: Let everything dry! Once dry hang on your front door for the world to see :)
*For hanging you may need to add ribbon or wire! If you are using a suction hook the embroidery hoop should hang great on these!
Drink & Dessert Pairings
Craft night would not be complete without a glass or wine and a dessert or 2. Pair tonight's craft with a delicious glass of Pinot Grigio and Creme Brulee!
If you are having a group of friends over to work on this craft try the Bota Box Pinot Grigio! This wine has a great crisp taste and the box holds 4 (yes FOUR) bottles of wine. You can pick up a box at your local grocery store or Target for $18.99!
Check out this great recipe for Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee! Seriously this dessert is one of my favorite and is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
